Are you one of those who send most of the time sitting in an office chair or sofa for too long? You are likely to suffer from backache. Mostly backaches are because of bad body positioning, human by nature is lazy and would ignore the correct way to sit.

Common causes of backaches are spondylosis, disc prolapse and congenital abnormalities, injury, overwork, emotional imbalance, menstrual tension and of course bad body positioning.

How to get rid of backaches?

1) Sit straight and support your back towards the chair or sofa.
2) Take timely breaks and walk for few mins when working long hours.
3) Apply heat to the affected area with bottle and warm water.
4) Avoid lifting, pulling, pushing of heavy equipments
5) Do regular back exercise, yoga is very effective
6) Avoid wearing high heels shoes
7) Swimming and steam bath also helps the cause.
8) Consult the doctor and check your calcium levels
9) Sleep early and avoid stress
10) Reset your chairs to best suit your height and size.
