Okay so this is my first post in years!!! neways no1 seemed 2 drop a review for Welcome so here it is!

REVIEW

Movies by Priyadarshan and David Dhawan are always guarneeted laughs, and welcome follows that trend onwards, but would it be as rib tickling as No Entry?? The answer quite simply is a yes!

The humor is very basic and the best part is non of the scenes or jokes are forcefull as most of the comedy is situational.

The Plot although slightly complicated has been used before, Two leading mobsters (Nana and Anil) are eager to get their sister Sanjana married to a decent Indian guy, step in Akshay. The two on the other hand coincidentlly fall in love, the 1st half of the movie consists of how Akshays uncle (paresh) tries to free from the hassles of the mob gang.

While the build up was superb many would question if the pace of the movie could go any higher in the 2nd half. All doubts were erased as Feroz Khan drops a steller cameo and the entire plot takes a U-Turn with the entry of Mallika Sherawat.

Katrina looks stunning in the movie but her acting needs to go a long way, Akshay could have done better and was slighlty above average every other actor was immense while Nana Patekar simply stole the show!!

A negative point in the movie is the music and the lack or complete abscence of background music and a background score, especially after watching movies such as Om Shanti Om and Aja Nachle one can expect a little more.

Nonetheless Welcome is a hilarious entertainer, the lines by Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal will surely make u crawl on the floor with laughter.

Well the movie is real fun to watch and full with funny scenes. But one thing is there that it seems Feroz Nadiawal is following Priyadarshan's concept. Just like him the movie has an item number from a hot sexy babe (in this case it is Malaika Arora Khan). Again just like Priyadarshan Paresh Rawal is a complete idiot in the movie. And most importantly just like Priyadarshan's movies all the characters meet up at the same place in the end and create a mess out there and movie will end up there.

Talking about the performances Anil Kapoor will rule the movie with his comic timings. Akshay Kumar as always is awesome, but i guess now a days he is into same kind of roles so he should try something else now, may be back to action. Nana Patekar also played the role of a don who wants to marry her beloved sister to a boy from a SHARIF family. He is really fun to watch. Feroze Khan dont have much of role and really speaking it seems he is added in the movie just for the case and is not needed. Katrina Kaif looks awesome in the movie and has performed well.

Now when i come to Mallika Sharawat then seriously i have to say that this girl has got something in her. This is the third time i have liked her. First in the movie Pyaar Ke Side Effects, then Mayya Mayya Video from Guru and then this movie Welcome. She has performed really well in the movie and its cool to watch her in some normal sensible roles.

Do watch this movie as it is full of fun and comedy.
