Payal is a computer engineer..a birdie told us that Payal has been chatting a lot online but she dose not use her real name but her pet name- PARI. And there is a story behind this pet name too.. Apparently everyone thinks she looks like a PARI( angel) since her transition and so v think the lady has adopted it to be her nickname in real life too.. And 9 is her birth date.. Well trust us with those transition pictures chatting online must have been like flooding herself with more compliments J over to Payal..?

Payal’s been getting emotional these days.. Well its been her maid for one year who had to go to her village as her child was not well. Payal’s mom feels-“ its fine as change is required but Payal has a habit of getting too fond of people close to her and she needs to learn to let go… She takes her time to know people and when she does she can’t let go.”Payal is often quizzed as to what does she do all by herself when not shooting thee days at her Mumbai home… People feel she might be getting lonely.. Our lady says, I preserve myself with patience for my next work film related assignment that can happen any time… And being a glamorous star I need to look good always J I have nearly done 12 films in a span of 4 years as lead actress in mediocre films as well as important roles in big set ups… I am just waiting for my film DHOL promo’s to start as now the film is pushed to September 21st… I am enjoying my time with myself preparing for my another stint in front of camera as I know my career is just starting with the right movies happening finally and I have a long long way to go to prove myself ;)

Payal Rohatgi is most comfortable in salwar kameez’s or pretty dresses when at home now…This comes as a pleasant surprise as she was a very denim person earlier…To this payal feels that -’my TRANSITION is not only onscreen but offscreen too..Though I love my denims I have started enjoying the feel of my pretty dresses too in my real life.I love being a woman and dressing up now…I think I was too manly earlier in my personality which has changed completely now’.. One habit of payal rohatgi that her fans would want to know is she hates talking on the phone..:) Well v got to know that the lady prefers saving hers energy for more constructive skills.. She says-‘when I can convey the same by messaging then its no loss to work.. In fact i keep my cell always on SILENT mode as i hate noise into my world that i don’t invite..:)But trust me when its related to work and family am the first one to call back as that cant suffer at any habit of mine.:)Payal rohatgi sign’s a 1 year contract with CARVING DREAMS ENTERTAINMENT, CDE for her shows, endorsements, appearances with the first one being a 4 city tour with leading paint brand which started from immediate effect.. Apparently payal was so good on stage that the client now wants to sign her for more 4 city’s.:) CDC handles profiles of most established stars like hrithik roshan, ajay devagan and companies like ericsson, coke, and is known for its great professional approach.. payal rohatgi sure knows now what she wants and whom she wants to work with in her career.. Only the BEST people in the business..DHOL. – Well payal rohatgi cant or will not drive a car..Well that’s a fact.. Apparently payal lost 2 of her mamaji’s to car accident and she feels her mom will get hyper if payal drives a car.. But during the shooting of DHOL payal did have to drive the maruti that she owned in the film..payal being a professional told director priyadarshanji that she will do it for the shot as she knows basic driving.. But priyan sir was cool saying that he could manage without her stressing so much.. And apparently the AD wore payal like clothes and drove the car and this accor to payal became the funniest scene that she remembers till date as later the entire unit was taking the AD’S case as payal having long hair he had to wear a wig and it was just funny looking at him like that. This scene also marked the climax end of the film making it worth remembering..:)
Payal rohatgi never had a pet name until recently.. Her transition has made people around her call her PARI if sources are to believed.. Apparently her KATHAK riyazz and her way of living life just by herself has given her face so much of innocence and freshness and even her naniji has started calling her PARI.. And if you still don’t wanna believe us then watch the promo’s of Her latest film DHOL where she is looking like a million dollars and now v all know she has a gr8 ROLE in it which she hopes might make critics tak her seriously as an ACTOR too.. Touchwood, after all that struggle of nearly 2 years in this transition all by herself, GOD she has some will power..Updated: 30 August, 2007 Payal Rohatgi’s special appearance scene in HEYY BABYY has taken all her fans and filmmakers by surprise.. The scene was opposite RITESH DESHMUKH in the film but so well did our lady do the scene that its left an IMPACT with her audiences.. If you remember even the 2 scenes that she had done in CORPORATE had made an impact 1 year back..Critics did say she can act..:) so it is going to be interesting to watch DHOL as their is an entire ROLE that our lady is playing and her 1st major break since her TRANSITION.. we are waiting dear as the industry is waiting for an ACTRESS who looks like a million dollars too.:)
Payal Goes Moving
The most recent and most influential film Payal Rohatgi watched is THE SEVENTH SEAL by Ingmar Bergman- a Scandinavian director. The film talks about perception and analyzing situations and accordingly facing results.. The film talks about a knights search for the presence of GOD and in the process of DEATH wanting to finish whatever life exists on Sweden in 12th Century in Europe. The knight wants to do something good before he succumbs to DEATH and he buys time by playing a game of CHESS with it and in the process saves the life of a happy family( the one good deed he does or wants to before losing to DEATH).. The screenplay of the film INSPIRES immensely and that is what FILMS are and LIFE is to our lady.. HOPE and SUCCESS inspite of FAILURE and facing consequences of one’s action.. In real life too the lady has finally faced her past and is now a part of A grade cinema with the promotion of DHOL and her presence in it.
Payal on the DHOL! Now that Payal’s song in her film DHOL has gone on air v see more of her than mere glimpses of her just coming out of water that were first seen in the first teasers of DHOL…Payal believes she is blessed and v know that the lady has been working on her LOOK so she says the BEST complement came for her efforts when she received a message from Ace Bollywood designer MANISH MALHOTRA that her look is perfect in the song… Though he did not design the outfit he said he will work on her soon- says the excited Payal. Well its another feather in her cap
